Try adding the eSIM manually while connected to a good net_{work connection. Go to Settings on your device}

1. _{Go to Cellular/Mobile}

2. _{Add Cellular/Mobile Plan}

3. _{Select Enter Details Manually. You will be asked to enter SM-DP+ Address}

4. _{(Copy and paste from the order confirmation number page -- The numb}er that is in this format;  LPA:1$SMDP+ADDRESS$ACTIVATIONCODE)  

5. Turn on your eSIM under Cellular/Mobile Plan

6. 7. Select your eSIM for Cellular/Mobile data

7. 8. Enable Data Roaming (Please turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges from your carrier provider when overseas)

8. 9. Set up an APN(access point name) on your device if required. If the APN settings are required for your eSIM, you can find the APN details in the eSIM installation details

3. Tap the Add icon next to Mobile Network

4. Tap Next when asked, “Don’t have a SIM card?”

5. Tap Enter Code Manually. You will be asked to enter the QR code information (SM-DP+Adress) in the following format:

• LPA:1$SMDP+ADDRESS$ACTIVATIONCODE

6. Turn on your eSIM under Mobile Network

7. Enable Mobile data

8. Enable Data Roaming (Please turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges from your carrier provider when overseas)

9. Set up an APN(access point name) on your device if required. If the APN settings are required for your eSIM, you can find the APN details in the eSIM installation details

1. Go to your device Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network

2. Tap Don’t have the SIM card? > Download your SIM > Tap Next

3. Scan the QR code provided by Afrosim eSim

4. Tap Activate

5. Tap Afrosim eSim

6. Add the APN Name: Tap on Advanced > Tap Access Point Names > Add APN name by clicking the three dots symbol ⋮ > Type tn1 (lower case, no spaces)

• Scroll down to view the “Carrier lock” section
• NO SIM restrictions”, which means that the device is unlocked
• Scroll down to the “DIGITAL SIM” section. It should display a “DIGITAL SIM” IMEI, which means that the device is eSIM compatible

• In Settings if you see a search bar, type in “IMEI”, and the option “IMEI information”  should show up (otherwise, you will need to go to About phone> Status).
